About me

I’m happy to welcome you to Backhaus + Bare’s Education. Thank you for being here!

A little about myself: I graduated cosmetology school in 2016. I have always loved doing prom hair, special events and bridal styling. It wasn’t until I decided to be full-time at home with my babies that I took a leap to do bridal hair styling only. I completely fell in love with the work (and the balance it provides me to be present with my kids.) Best of both worlds.

In this new styling journey, I quickly learned that I love learning more about the trade and helping others grow their techniques too! I offer in-person seminars and here I offer free resource as well.

If I’m not doing bridal hair, teaching a class, practicing on my mannequin head. You can catch me getting a cold coffee, playing outside with my babies, feeding our farm animals, picking from our garden and going on little family adventures.
